About the Company:

Our client is a telecommunications company and a leader in the technology construction and infrastructure sector. They service public and private customers across North America for over 10 years! They are expanding at a rapid pace and are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team in Vaughan, ON!

 Responsibilities:

• Work independently to pick, pack and ship
• Work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive environment
• Follow all safety procedures and practices
• Check in and put away materials, verifying quantities and quality of received materials & ensuring materials are organized
• Receive and unload truck/trailers as needed at customer and/or branch locations
• Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds, using proper lifting techniques
• Maintain appearance of branch and work truck as needed. Clean warehouse, isles/walkways, truck interior/exterior counter area, bathrooms, etc. for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed for fleet of trucks and trailers
• Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups
• Load truck and trailers accurately and safely for project deliveries
• Occasionally assist teams onsite at project locations, as well as other tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Have strong multi-tasking skills & ability to work effectively under pressure
• Must be in good physical condition with the ability to bend and lift up to 75 lbs
• Forklift license and the ability to drive a 16′ cube van with a possible 16′ trailer extension are a bonus
• Willing to work overtime hours
• Attendance must be in good standing
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient computer, communication and organizational skills
• Dropbox experience, as well as purchasing experience is an asset
• Ability to work alone and in a team
• Able to use all types of warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, ladders, order pickers bar code readers, etc.
• Possesses excellent attention to detail
• Able to read customer orders, transfer and stock numbers
• Comfortable with working at heights
