About the Company:

Our client is a woodworking shop that specializes in manufacturing high end goods for institutional, residential and commercial clients all around the GTA. They specialize in working with materials such as solid woods, veneers, plywood and MDF. They currently have two job openings for cabinet makers with varying experience levels.

Responsibilities:

• Install applicable hardware including drawer slides, hinges and handles
• Interpreting and understanding instructions, shop drawings, labels and cut lists
• Safely operate a variety of industry related power tools and hand tools
• Laminating components with the use of various spray adhesives and contact cements
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, processes and basic industry math
• Keeping a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the woodworking industry
• Detail oriented, punctual and organized
• Strong time management skills
• Must possess the ability to read blueprints and shop drawings with ease
• Ability to work on table saw comfortably
• Ability to communicate in English
• Must supply own tools and safety gear
• Valid G drivers license with clean driving abstract
