About the Company:

Our client is a custom cabinetry and millwork company that specializes in residential and commercial projects throughout the GTA. Located in Stoney Creek, Ontario, they are growing rapidly and are seeking a cabinet maker with commercial and residential experience to fill their full time, permanent position!

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and reinforce cabinet pieces
• Inspect raw materials to ensure they are free from damage
• Ensure safety policies and guidelines are being followed
• Prepare custom ordered components in a timely manner
• Safely operate various machines and tools including table and miter saws and hand tools
• Accurately measure and machine various parts
• Ensure machines are kept clean and are always in working order
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience in woodworking industry including operation of woodworking machines
• Must possess the ability to read work orders and shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work flexible hours including Saturdays
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to lift 20-70 lbs
