Cabinet Maker

Our client is a family business located in Markham, ON, which has been supplying functional woodwork for residential and commercial customers for over 30 years. Their woodwork includes custom build designs using top quality to create furniture pieces for bathrooms, kitchens, wall units, office furniture and much more. They service customers int he GTA and beyond.

They are looking for a Work Station Cabinet Maker to join their team.

Responsibilities:

– Install cabinets and custom woodworking on job site

– Utilizing a stroke and edge sander to create wood furniture

– Applying solid wood edges by hand to plywood

– Operate woodworking machines to cut, share and form parts

– Operate power tools

– Ability to complete finishing work and installations of cabinets, countertops and storage units

Requirements:

– At least 5 years of experience and familiarity with cabinet assembly procedures

– Excellent reading and speaking of the English language

– Knowledge with interpreting blueprints and specifications

– Willing to work overtime when needed
