About the Company:

Our client is a premier office and workspace builder across the GTA. Their goal is to provide changes in office designs and deliver a adequate finish product. They have recently seen a growth in the number of projects that they have on the go, and are therefore seeking a Construction Manager to join their fast growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage and update project schedule and incorporating all phases of the project cycle
• Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports & plans are relevant, accurate & complete
• Source, negotiate with and award contractors
• Coordinate and ensure “off-site work” is performed according to criteria
• Assist in preparing budgets
• Active involvement in quality assurance with regards to understanding and implementing policies and procedures
• Provide status & progress reports to customer, project team, and management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a construction manager in a commercial or high-rise office construction
• ICI experience is a must
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with trades, suppliers, inspectors, engineers and / or designers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean abstract and up to dare insurance
• Must be able to work in downtown Toronto
