About the Company:

Our client is a busy and growing commercial construction company that provides interior finish solutions, wall panel services and acoustic treatments. They have worked with top companies such as Microsoft, Shopify, LinkedIn, BMO, Pepsi, Hewlett Packard, Questrade, University of Toronto, and Bank of Canada. They are actively seeking an Estimator to add to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Estimate interior finish quantities
• Assist lead estimator on construction bids and tender’s package
• Estimate material quantities from $10K to $5 million in value
• Produce AutoCAD drawings, track finishes on drawings and in specifications, estimate wall and ceiling areas
• Perform site measurements such as physical walls and ceilings using tape measures, lasers, and laser tape measures
• Work on Excel for measurement drawings and dimension lists
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in interior acoustic wall finishing estimation
• Experience with blueprint reading and specifications
• Experience in mid to large commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge in measuring ceilings and walls
• Strong communication and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time-management and organization skills
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office (Word and Excel), Adobe, and Video Conferencing
• Experience in manufacturing products (Filzfelt, CROWN Zintra, Arktura, Sound Solutions, Decoustics, Akustus, Novawall, Armstrong, Hunter Douglas)
• Valid Safety Training Certifications (WHMIS, 4 Steps, WAH, etc.)
• Valid G license with a reliable vehicle
