About the Company:

Our client is a leader in the production and manufacturing of metal and steel materials. They have been known for their excellent customer service and the delivery of top quality products to many industries across North America. They have recently opened a large industrial plant and are seeking an experience Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare estimates, quantity takeoffs, bids and proposals

– Produce and evaluate quotations, documents and presentations

– Analyze blueprints and drawings

– Provide comprehensive budgets and cost controls

– Build and maintain strong relationships with all clients, sub-contractors and suppliers

– Other duties assigned

Requirements:

– Educational background in construction, engineering, architecture or a related field

– 5+ years experience as an estimator

– Experience in the ICI Construction Industry is a must

– Bilingual: English and Mandarin/Chinese is considered an asset

– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

– Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code

– Strong written and oral communication skills

– Strong organizational and time-management skills
