About the Company:

Our client is a Canadian certified green roof and pedestal installer. They service residential and commercial properties in installation and maintenance. With an excellent team of designers and installers, they produce a high-quality design and innovative construction to build according to their clients needs. They are seeking a Foreman/woman to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction installation projects from conception to completion
• Provide support with Superintendent in scheduling (including labour, materials, tools, and equipment)
• Train, mentor, and work as part of the crew
• Communicate and collaborate with employees, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure all work is completed in highest quality, safe and timely manner
• Adhere with Health and Safety and Hazardous Materials procedures and regulations
• Participate in planning, monitoring and enforcement of safety meetings, orientations and responsibilities
• Perform a variety of tasks such as writing reports, timesheets, deficiency and inspection list
• Other foreman and administrative duties assigned

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in the construction industry
• Experience as a foreman, lead hand or any related supervisory role
• Exposure to Green Roofing industry is an asset
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Safety Training Certificates (Working at Heights Certificate, WHMIS, & OHSA in 4 steps, etc.)
