Framer / Carpenter

Our client is a top builder construction company located in Barrie, ON. They are currently looking for an experienced Wood Framing Carpenter to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work together with a small crew of framer carpenters on site for residential construction in Barrie. This is also an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

– Wood framing and building of a new residential development

– Assist with the installation, maintaining and repairing foundations, exterior doors, windows, floors, walls and roofs

– Knowledge with all company safety and Ministry of Labour procedures, regulations and enforce regulations on site

– Optimize resources including manpower, equipment and materials to ensure efficient and timely completion of project

– Develop excellent working relationships with all department personnel

Requirements:

– A minimum of 2 years experience in residential carpentry

– Wood framing experience is an asset

– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

– Excellent communication and time management skills

– Must be able to operate power tools

Compensation:

– $30.00 per hour
