Heavy Equipment Operator

Our client is an established landscaping company that has been successfully operating for over 20 years. With a solid and long-term customer base within the GTA, they have built a reputation for quality, dependability and professional service making them one of the top landscaping employers in the Greater Toronto Area.

They are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

– Operate a variety of equipment which may include: backhoe, excavator, loader, bulldozer, skid steer, dump truck, roller, compactor and concrete spreader

– Operate heavy equipment to perform various tasks which may include: landscaping, sloping and banking, excavating and grading

– Perform general equipment inspections and maintenance requirements

– Comply with safe operating procedures and reporting requirements

Requirements:

– 3+ years related experience

– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

– Strong communications skills
