Operations Manager – Critical Environment

Our client is a large, recognized leader in real estate property management services. Currently managing over 800 critical sites across the world by providing a team of experts who specialize in critical site operations and full facility services including all mission critical infrastructure from electrical, mechanics, fire systems and controls through to critical project managing.

They are seeking an Operations Manager – Critical Environments to join their team.

Responsibilities:

– Implementing processes and procedures specific to mission critical facilities

– Managing budgets and maintaining work orders within service management maintenance database

– Overseeing a team of technicians in the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance and on demand services for assigned critical facilities

– Ensuring all technicians perform work in accordance to established mission critical processes and procedures including environmental health and safety, fire protection and risk management

– Manages the operations and maintenance activities as well as annual facility programs of a portfolio of facilities

– Accountable for ensuring facility up-time objectives are met

– Ensures the continued safe and reliable operations of the portfolio of facilities managed

– Creates and executes emergency preparedness, risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity plans

– Collaborates with relevant stakeholders on incident management-related requirements

Requirements:

– 10+ years of experience of facility management

– 7+ years of experience of management of critical facilities

– Proficiency with facility equipment and building systems

– Good persuasion and negotiating skills

– Certifications in one or more the following:

• Data Centre Facility Operations Management certificate (ICOR)
• Facility Manager Certificate (IFMA)
• Property Manager certificate (Real Estate Management)
• Facility Management Administration Designations (BOMI)
• Real Property Administrator (BOMI)
• Certified Data Centre Professional (BOMI)
