Overhead Door and Dock Technician

$24.00 – $32.00/hourly

About the Company:

Our client is a Canadian  company that supplies overhead doors to industrial, residential and commercial clients. Servicing the GTA and surrounding area for decades they provide a wide range of high quality door systems that are built to last.  All products are built in their Mississauga location to provide fast service, installation and maintenance of an extensive rage of products to their loyal and diverse customers.

They are seeking a Technician to join their fast growing team.

Responsibilities: 

• Install, repair and maintain overhead door and dock equipment
• Load and unload vehicles
• Maintain the work truck including re stocking the truck and general maintenance
• Supervise and teach new apprentices while on job sites
• Take the lead role while on service calls and install jobs

Requirements:

• Ability to work at heights is a must
• Ability to drive and operate forklifts and scissor lifts
• 2-3 years experience in the overhead door and dock industry
• G class drivers license
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
