About the Company:

Our client is a large and recognized leader in the retail signage industry. Operating for over 20 years, they provide design, fabrication and installation services for commercial sectors like grocery stores, beverage manufacturers, restaurants and pharmacies across Canada and the US.

They are seeking a Print Production Manager to add to their team!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee print production; manage and schedule day-to-day operations
  • Perform quality control from reviewing printed proofs to checking final project results
  • Track daily inventory and maintain supplies to ensure production is on schedule
  • Responsible for internal technical support
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine issues with external technical support
  • Maintain the demand on the machines based on projects and schedules
  • Gather and assess work orders and make sure they are correct and accurate
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with team and the management
  • Mentor, supervise and motivate your team
  • Identify new operational efficiencies
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures and Regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience as a Digital Print Operator
  • Experience as a Manager or a Supervisor/Team Lead
  • Experience in production or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in installations of windows vinyl and walls
  • Experience with Benjamin Moore paint
  • Familiar with wide-format printer
  • Familiar with metal and wood fabrication
  • Skilled in vinyl cutting, laminating, and weeding
  • Skilled in operating CNC routing and digital cutting
  • Certified 3M Vinyl
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong leadership, time management and organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid Ontario License and own vehicle
