About the Company:

Our client is Canada’s most trusted installer of custom store fixtures, merchandise services and interior general contracting. They have built a reputation in the retail and residential industry for creating high impact, functional spaces that enhance the customer experience. With the continuous growth of the organization, they are looking to add a Project Coordinator to their rapidly growing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Create project schedule, conducting site walks and validating the client’s scope of work for a project
  • Work with HR Manager to organize and schedule resources, sub-trades, disposal bins, rental equipment and materials required to execute a project
  • Responsible for daily reporting, ordering, detailing, and receiving of all client supplied fixtures, racking/shelving and millwork
  • Ensure quality workmanship, cleanliness and strict adherence to the client’s standards
  • Provide effective internal communication amongst all team members; via telephone or email when required
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required by our clients via phone and email
  • Maintain a professional image as a representative of the organization

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma and/ or relevant work experience required
  • Experience working for or in a “Big Box Retailer” (Home Depot, RONA, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, Best Buy, Bed Bath Beyond, Etc.) an asset
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and smartphone device
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are an absolute requirement
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to identify problems and determine feasible solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Ability to travel to various locations within Ontario and Canada when required
