Project Coordinator – Residential Homes

Our client is a residential home building specialist that has over 30 years of experience in the home building industry. They have had an impact on many residential communities and are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit documentation for building permits
• Prepare and issue info to site super and other trades for construction
• Verify drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with bi-laws
• Coordinate with site lead to ensure Ontario Health and Safety (OHSA) regulations are being followed
• Manage storage of contracts, architectural, construction and health and safety documentation
• Handle and resolve field issues relating to purchase orders, trade availability, contracts and unacceptable goods and/or services
• Customer service support and other administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Post Secondary Degree in a relevant field
• Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code
• Thorough knowledge of how to build a residential home from beginning to end including an understanding of how to read site plans, grading plans and home plans
• Computer literacy including an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
