About the company:

Our client is a busy and growing general contractor and design building company based in Mississauga. They specialize in residential and commercial high-end custom homes, facilities and renovations. They have enjoyed dynamic growth since their establishment, and due to the continuing growth and success they seeking Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and complete commercial projects from conception to completion
• Interpret plans and specifications according to scope of work and ensure compliance throughout project lifecycles
• Lead development of schedules, budgets, take-offs, estimates, pricing, tenders and contracts
• Monitor quality of work performance and efficiency of client, constructor, subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed effectively and within budget
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work required to make accurate estimates
• Monitor projects on a daily basis and communicate any anticipated delays or changes to scope of work
• Ensure the implementation of strict company guidelines for Code of Conduct and Health and Safety Program to create a safe work environment throughout the job site

Requirements:

• Educational background in construction, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years experience in a construction management or similar role
• Experience with retirement and long-term care projects is a must
• Experience handling large commercial project is a must
• Experience in the ICI Construction Industry is an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
