About the Company:

Our client is an established Design Build General Contractor who specializes in office and industrial construction. Operating for over 10 years, they have built a passionate and dedicated team and are looking for a Site Supervisor to join their appreciation for craft in today’s service.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Health and Safety policy and procedures and implement corrective measure
• Build long-term relationships with colleagues, consultants and key stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly
• Handle all subcontractor interactions in a professional manner
• Coordinate and oversee daily activities and ensure project accuracy and quality is met within budget and on time
• Work closely with the Project Manager and Project coordinator and operate as one team
• Provide feedback to management on all design, workmanship and sub-contractor performance and initiate suggestions for company wide improvements

Requirements:

• 5-10 years experience in interior and exterior construction
• Construction related degree or diploma
• Technical training in commercial and institutional (ICI) sector is an asset
• Knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software
• Good working knowledge of construction equipment, materials, techniques and ability to read drawings and specifications
• Health and Safety training and Supervision experience is a must
