About the Company:

Our client is in the real estate sector, primarily involved in land development and construction across the Greater Toronto Area. They specialize in residential, high/low rise buildings and commercial construction. They currently have active projects in Markham, Brampton, Oakville, Vaughan, Stouffville & Caledon and are seeking a Site Supervisor to join their fast growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage on-going construction projects throughout the GTA
• Interpret architectural plans with a keen eye to detail
• Review drawings and specifications and recommend alternative solutions whenever design details affect construction feasibility or schedules
• Coordinate trades and sub trades
• Coordinate with building inspectors of various municipalities to ensure builds are up to city requirements
• Conduct regular inspections of all active job sites
• Ensure teams are keeping to time deadlines for completion of projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience overseeing residential and commercial construction projects
• Must possess a University Degree/ College Diploma
• Hands-on construction experience is a must
• Carpentry skills is an asset
• Computer literacy including knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent time management and scheduling skills
