Warranty Service Technician

Our client is a North American leader in land development and homebuilding. Operating for nearly 60 years, this company specializes in developing land for planned communities, as well as building and selling lots to third-party builders. They are seeking a Warranty Service Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

– Meet with homeowners in a professional manner to determine and investigate listed deficiencies

– Complete all required repairs of warrantable items as per Tarion guidelines in a timely manner

– Approve Purchase Orders, and ensure planning for materials and coordination of job tasks

– Coordinate with trades on a regular basis to resolve work orders

– Communicate with Tarion representatives when needed

– Ability to use Builder Lynx, Outlook, Tarion’s Construction Performance Guidelines and Tarion’s Builder Link to solve home owner warrantable deficiencies

Requirements:

– 5+ years related hands-on residential construction experience

– Strong knowledge of repairs and trades such as drywall, painting, tile, carpentry, and basic plumbing and electrical

– Ability to operate power and hand tools efficiently

– Ability to operate power and hand tools efficiently

– Capable of climbing ladders and comfortable with heights

– Sound knowledge of Tarion and Construction Performance Guidelines

– Valid driver’s license
