About the Company:
Our client specializes in high-end store fixtures and a variety of construction, installation and fabrication in the commercial, retail, and restaurant sectors. They are recognized for their top-of-the-line and functional products and is seeking a Welder to add to their busy and growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings & layouts
- Perform MIG or TIG welding processes and check welds to ensure that they are completed according to specifications and company standards
- Use of heavy-duty welding machinery (i.e. plasma cutter, torches, grinders, saw, etc.)
- Follow Health & Safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in MIG or TIG
- Experience in stainless steel welding
- Experience in fabricating and installing of high-end store fixtures and miscellaneous
- Knowledgeable in fitting and assembling
- Team player and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Valid G license and a reliable vehicle
- Valid CWB tickets are an asset
